S'more Dip: All the Flavor, Half the Mess — Colonia Del Rey RV Blog

The campfire s'more is a sacred tradition, but let's be honest — they're sticky, they're messy, and getting that marshmallow to the perfect golden brown without launching it into the fire is a skill that takes time to develop. S'more dip solves all of that. You get all the flavor in one bowl, shared around the fire with a stack of graham crackers. Perfect for a group at Colonia del Rey RV Park or wherever your travels take you.

S'mores Dip

Yield: 2 cups of dip

Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream
2 cups bittersweet chocolate chips
1 bag mini marshmallows
Graham crackers for dipping

Equipment

Sauce pot
Spoon
9x9 glass pan

Method

Start by heating the heavy cream on medium heat. Once it starts steaming, shut the heat off, add your chocolate chips and stir to melt. Pour into the glass pan and sprinkle marshmallows over the top.

Turn the broiler on your oven and place in the oven to toast the marshmallows. This should only take about 2 minutes. Keep an eye on this — it will burn quickly.

Break up graham crackers and use to scoop up the dip. Enjoy!

This works beautifully in a camp oven or Dutch oven over coals too if you're doing full campfire cooking. The chocolate base can be made ahead and reheated, which makes it a great make-ahead dessert when you're hosting neighbors at the campsite.
